Who Am I?

I guess I should tell you a little about myself before we go any further.

I'm a 44-year-old man. Except for the time spent away from home going to college, I've lived in the Chattanooga area all my life. I've been married for almost twenty years, and have three teenaged kids (two boys and a girl) and a grandson. I'm a news and political junkie. I've been fairly liberal for as long as I've been able to tell the difference between a Republican and a Democrat. President Reagan turned me into a more hardcore liberal; President Bush completed the process.

On the Political Compass, which categorizes you as a liberal or a conservative and as an authoritarian or a libertarian, I score a -5.62 Left and -4.10 Libertarian. This places me in almost direct opposition to President George W. Bush, who scores as a Right/Authoritarian in just about the same amounts. I guess this is pretty accurate because, on just about any issue, you can determine my position by figuring out the direct opposite of the President's position.
